STAYING OVERNIGHT IN WINTER
It seems like summer at Totem Pole and a few
people have asked about staying overnight. The rule applies
regardless of snow cover during December 01 through April
01. THE RULE APPEARS BELOW.
The Winter Season Rule is as follows:
The winter season is from December 01 to April 01. During
this time only registered winter campers who have paid their
Annual Plowing Fee may stay overnight. All others may visit
their sites from 7:00AM to 7:00PM only and must leave no
later than 7:00PM. The town has the list of registered
owners and they check periodically. The winter committee
also has the list and will ask you to leave if you are not
registered.
From November 01 to November 15, and during April, anyone
can stay if there is no snow that needs plowing. If there is
a storm that needs plowing anyone not registered must leave
by 7PM.
This has been the rule since winter camping started and was
voted on this way by the Association at the meeting
approving winter use and agreed to by the town.
The closed month is Nov 15 to Dec 15 and NO ONE may stay
over during that time.

PARK CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION
FREEDOM, NEW

The Totem
Pole Park Condominium Association, through its Board of
Directors, is currently seeking a candidate with management
expertise to oversee and manage the total operation of the
Park beginning November 1, 2012. Totem Pole Park is a 90
acre, full facility condominium campground located on
Pequawket Trail in Freedom, New Hampshire Road on Ossipee
Lake . The duties and responsibilities will include, all
necessary maintenance of the Park and its facilities,
security, planned activities for adults and children during
the peak season, and management of the Parks’ commercial
properties which include a convenience store, snack bar,
arcade, laundromat, and two condominium rental units.
